Late diagnosis can leave you feeling lost and unsure of where to turn for help. If you feel this then know that it is completely natural. There can be a confusion that comes with late diagnosis. You feel like you've lost yourself and found yourself all at once. It brings relief but also grief.
You are not alone because this is exactly what I experienced.
If you're here, chances are something changed profoundly when your perimenopause kicked in and you coped until you couldn't anymore. Maybe you've just been diagnosed, maybe you're waiting for an assessment, or maybe you're standing at the edge of "I think I might be neurodivergent" and perimenopause has made it impossible to keep ignoring. Whichever it is: the coping strategies that used to just about work don't work anymore. You're not lazy, too sensitive, or too much. You've been masking for a long time, and it's finally costing you more than you have left to give.
This is where we work together.

You may recognise yourself here
- Your coping strategies have stopped working, and you don't know why
- You're mentally drained, running on empty, close to burnout or already there
- Masking is exhausting, and some days you can't do it at all
- You feel grief for the years before you understood yourself
- Sounds, light and clutter overwhelm you more than they used to
- One small thing tips your whole day over
- You're questioning whether you're "neurodivergent enough" to even be here - you are!
The Woman Becoming Method®
The Woman Becoming Method® was created to guide women through this powerful transition. Combining nervous system regulation, inner child healing, self-compassion, somatic practices, journalling and drawing on the concept of Individuation the method uses the chakra system as a gentle map for transformation - each energy centre acting as a gateway into a different area of life and self-discovery.
The journey begins at your foundation.
When your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, safety becomes the first priority. Through grounding practices, you create a stable inner foundation from which lasting change can grow.
As you move through the method, you begin exploring the deeper layers of who you are. Childhood wounds, unmet needs, suppressed emotions, and old patterns are brought into compassionate awareness, allowing healing and integration to occur.
How I can help
I will support you to navigate ADHD and Autism diagnosis in menopause transition.
We will explore the experiences your late diagnosis brings and work together on:
Rebuilding trust in yourself
The masks you wear and how to release them safely
Self compassion and boundaries
Overwhelm in daily life
Burnout cycles and what they look like for you
The grief of losing who you were
Acceptance of who you are today
How to be unapologetically and uniquely you
What happens when we work together
We work with your nervous system, not against your brain. That means no productivity hacks, no willpower pep talks, and nothing that asks you to mask harder to get through it.
Together we'll look at:
- Rebuilding trust in yourself after years of being told (or telling yourself) you were the problem
- The masks you wear, and how to take them off safely, at your pace
- Self-compassion and boundaries that don't require you to over-explain
- The burnout cycle — where it shows up for you, and how to interrupt it before you collapse
- Grief for who you were before you understood yourself
- Acceptance of who you actually are, today
- What it feels like to be unapologetically, uniquely you

"I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism when I was 52. I felt really invalidated and isolated when I was trying to get help for how I felt. My diagnosis left me feeling confused and sad about who I am now and who I used to be. Until I found Jade who helped me make sense of my diagnosis and helped me build strategies to live more easily. Thank you!"
